Glenn had to take a "business" trip last week to Utah. Something like a few hours of business and 3 days of golf: These pictures are taken from a golf course down in Mesquite, I think (Glenn should really be writing this entry). He went down with Andy and a few friends. He's already planning where he wants his next "business" trip to be.

I love these next two pictures. I'm not sure who found this shirt but I think almost everyone ended up wearing it at some point during the day. I can't remember exactly what your score had to be to wear the shirt, but it had to be pretty bad. LOL

The kids and I just got back from our trip to California last week. We had a bast and LOVED the weather. Thanks to everyone out there for showing us such a good time. After two weeks of nonstop running and playing, I think we have sufficiently recovered. It couldn't have been a better time to go and visit - it was in the high 60's almost everyday and only rained one of the days and to make it even better, it seemed like every time I talked to Glenn he said it was snowing back home (so glad we weren't there for it). We went to the beach a few times, the zoo (the one where they had the tiger attack), marine world, and the park a ton, we even got to hike to a beautiful waterfall. We took so many pictures that it was hard to pick which ones to put on this. I left out a lot of pictures believe it or not.

I was even able to run almost everyday around this beautiful lake in the foothills of Santa Rosa, it was good for me to practice running with some hills since at home a bump in the road it the closest thing we get to a hill. Here's a picture of the lake.

When we got home Isaac had a huge surprise waiting for him. Glenn moved Isaac and Noah into the same room and painted and decorated it (with the help of my mom). It turned out so cute. Isaac was so excited and to top it off it was decorated in a dinosaur theme which Isaac absolutely loves. The next picture is the second surprise Glenn was working on (painting the kitchen) but ran out of time so it wasn't completely done.

Then right when we got home Glenn went out of town. By the time he was home from his trip we were all so excited to be together. The kids missed him a ton, not to mention me.

I found a lost memory card the other day that had Noah's birthday pictures on it along with a few other random ones, so even though his birthday was over a month ago I figure the kid deserves to have his birthday recognized.

I'm afraid there's nothing to exciting to write about. It's now March and unfortunately we are still getting snow and cold weather. I'm sure spring is right around the corner?!?! It seems like we have been hibernating for the past few months, but this weekend we actually ventured out.

Saturday morning Glenn and I were able to go running together (which never happens). I've been running pretty hard for the last couple of months on the treadmill at home, so it was the first time I've ran on the track in quite some time. The track definitely takes a lot more out of you. We were trying for 10 miles but only made it to 7. It felt good though. Then we spent the rest of the day just playing. We went to Apple Holler for a late breakfast and then back over to the gym where they were having a kids expo and played around for a while, then went swimming. It was fun to get out of the house with the kids and they loved every minute of it.

At the expo they were taking pictures of all the kids so they could be on the cover of a magazine, just for fun of course.

In the last six years we have never had a winter quite like this one. One day it will be 60 degrees and the next -35 with wind chill, tornadoes and huge snow snow storms (which is what we just experienced). We ended up with somewhere between 13 and 16 inches of snow. Shoveling to say the least was torture. We shoveled 4 times in one day and each time it was really tiring. Glenn had been busy shoveling drive ways all day so I desided to be nice and shovel it one last time before bed right after all the snow was done falling. Well after 45 minutes of back breaking work I had cleared the entire driveway and went to bed. The next moring when I woke up I looked out the front window to see that the snowplow had come by late last night and burried our driveway in about 3 feet of snow...ahhh!!!
